An in-depth discussion with the client regarding training goals, behaviors, pet history, and the daily routine. The welcome packet will reviewed. The trainer will conduct a basic temperament and intelligence test. The consultation is required before any other sessions can be started. Training will start at the end of the consultation

In approximately 6 to 8 sessions, the trainer will teach the foundations of sit, down, stay, come, leave it, place, off, and basic heel. Trainer will also work through crate training, potty training, jumping, and nipping. For dogs 2 months and older with no previous training.

In approximately 6 to 8 sessions, the trainer will build on basic obedience progress by combining commands and adding complexity and intensity. Sessions will also take place in public settings to develop listening skills in all settings.

For dogs who exhibit aggression towards other dogs and/or people. The trainer will use counter-conditioning techniques along with obedience training to teach dogs to regulate their intensity and fixation.

It’s a Breeze Dog Training & Pet Care is certified through the AKC to administer the Canine Good Citizen, Canine Good Citizen – Community, Canine Good Citizen – Urban, and Trick Dog Tests. Test items can be incorporated into training sessions. The test itself will need to be during a separate 1 hour session with the AKC Certification fee added on. For clients wanting to initiate Drop-In or Dog Walking services, we offer a free 30 minute meeting at your home so our providers can learn more about your pets, learn the routine, and the pet parent can ensure they feel comfortable leaving their pets in our care.

This service is not offered for dog training clients. 

Private walks with your dog(s) and the service provider. Walks start and end at your home. 

Drop-In Visits include outside time for dogs, feeding of all pets, scooping litter boxes, watering plants, and checking for packages and mail. The remaining time will be used to walk dogs when applicable and desired. We have taken care of everything from dogs to turtle to chincillas! We are open to caring for all sorts of creatures. 

For clients who need assistance getting their pets to and from day care, boarding, grooming, and vet appointments. Cats will be secured in a carrier and dogs will be secured via seatbelt in the backseat. When picking up from one of the above locations, those services must be prepaid for prior to pick up.

Nail Trim (Dog or Cat): $15

Brushing (10 Minutes): $10

Holiday Fee (Walk/Drop-Ins): $5 per

Additional Dog Fee (Trainings): $5 per
